लेकिन सबसे पहलॆ करते हैं होम्योपैथी से जुडी शब्द “Genus epidemics ” की :
माहामारियों मे दवा का चुनाव अन्य चुनाव की अपेक्षा आसान हो जाता है क्योंकि रोग के लक्षण लगभग एक से ही रह्ते हैं । और दवा का चुनाव मुख्यत: एक या दो दवाओं पर आ टिकता है । ऐसी अवस्था मे चयनित दवा को “genus epidemicus” कहते हैं ।

The indicated remedy in pandemics is usually very consistent and called the “genus epidemicus“. This is narrowed down to a shortlist of three or less.

“ यह सच है कि आयुष मंत्रालय (भारत) के सीसीआरएच द्वारा आर्सेनिकम एल्बम का सुझाव दिया गया था, हालांकि उनके सुझाव अस्पष्ट और तथ्यहीन थॆ । CCRH एक तरह से ILI-influenza प्रकार की आम बीमारी मॆ प्रयोग करनॆ की हिमायत कर रहा था । बाद में, मंत्रालय ने आंशिक रूप से सलाह को वापस ले लिया । लेकिन तथ्य और विश्लेषण के अनुसार से – आर्सेनिकम एल्बम जीनस एपिडेमिकस के साथ-साथ कोविड -19 महामारी के लिए ही उपचारात्मक उपाय साबित हुई है ।
आरम्भ में अलग २ होम्योपैथिक शिक्षाविद्ध और चिकित्सकॊ का भी दृष्टिकोण अलग २ रहा । कुछ bryonia , gelsemium , belladona या camphor कॆ पक्ष मे थे । लेकिन होम्योपैथिक दृष्टिकोण से हर दवा का चुनाव totality के आधार पर ओता है जिसे कोविड 19 और इन दवाओं मे मेल बिल्कुल नही दिखा । totality अगर देखी गई तो सिर्फ़ आर्सेनेक के साथ ।

There is a strange similarity of symptoms between Arsenic Trioxide poisoning AND Covid-19 AND HIV-AIDS. Apart from usual symptoms that are common between all three – example of rare symptoms common between all three are: Immuno-suppression / loss of taste or smell / Acute Necrotic Encephalopathy or Demyelinating Encephalopathy / the rare symptom of Rhabdomyolysis. Homeopathic Mini-repertory App for Covid 19 developed by Liga Medicorum Homeopathica Internationalis (LMHI)

This app has been developed using the experience of medical homeopaths worldwide who have responded to requests for help by COVID-19 patients. Government of the National Capital of Delhi issued an advisory to utilise homoeopathy and other Ayush systems in the prevention and treatment of Covid 19 

All the DM’s/CDMOs/MSs looking after the Hot spots, CTC, CCC and CH are hereby directed to facilitate the incorporation of AYUSH systems as per the advisory of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India that includes changes in the diet of COVID patients, using their drugs in addition to the standard protocol being followed in the prevention and management of COVID pandemic.

Ministry of AYUSH with an intention to support short-term research proposals for evaluating the role and impact of AYUSH interventions/medicines in the prophylaxis and clinical management of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19, has designed a mechanism for the same. This mechanism is a modification of the existing EMR Scheme, to the extent as detailed in the Annexure-II of this OM.

Hypercholesterolemia effectively managed with homeopathic medicine Gautteria gaumeri (Yumel): results from a clinical study in academic clinical set up in north India ( हाइपरकोलेस्ट्रोलेमिया पर होम्योपैथिक औषधि गौटरिया ग्युमरी के सफ़ल प्रयोग )

गौटरिया ग्युमरी को हाइपरकोलेस्ट्रोलेमिया और कोलेलिथियसिस के उपचार के लिए परंपरागत मैक्सिकन चिकित्सा में छाल के रूप में इस्तेमाल जाता है। इसकी छाल और जड़ों के औषधीय गुणों की वजह से इसका इस्तेमाल गुर्दे की बीमारी, टाइप II मधुमेह मेलेटस के इलाज के लिए मेकिस्को में काफ़ी समय से किया जाता रहा है । इसका मुख्य घटक अल्फा-एसरोन है जिसे अलग-अलग निकासी प्रक्रियाओं से पृथक किया गया है जिनके मुख्य अवव्ययों में 16 एनालॉग, 4-प्रोपेनिल-1,2-डीमेथॉक्सीबेंजनों 5-प्रतिस्थापित किए गए । इन अववय्यो कॊ हाइपरकोलेस्ट्रोलेमेक नर चूहों पर सात दिन के लिए परीक्षण किया गया जहाँ कोलेस्ट्रॉल में क्रमशः 57.3, 37.5 और 46.9% और ट्राग्लिसराइड्स में क्रमशः 42.5, 67.6 और 17.2% की कमी देखी गई ।

गौटेरिया का कार्य क्षेत्र पित्ताशय पर भी देखा गया जहाँ अल्फा-एसरोन ने हमास्टर्स चूहों में पित्त के वजन को 80.6% कम किया है।

बीसवीं सदी के शुरुआती दिनों में मैक्सिकन होम्योपैथ डॉ. मैनुएल ए. लिजमा का ध्यान गौटेरिया की ओर आकर्षित हुआ , जिन्होंने 1913 में प्रकाशित मेडिकल विषय संकलन ( Medical Subject Compendium )में अपनी टिप्पणियां दर्ज कीं। तब से होम्योपैथिक छॆत्र में कई शोध कार्य के जरिये से गौटेरिया के अन्य घटकों जैसे अल्फा-एसेरोन के हाइपर्लिपीडिमिया पर औषधीय क्रिया को निर्दिष्ट किया है ।

The elemuy, Guatteria gaumeri or Malmea depressa is a tree that lives in Mexico and Central America, and that due to the medicinal properties of its bark and its root has been used since pre-Hispanic times to treat renal affections, diabetes mellitus type II and hypercholesterolemia, among other diseases. At the beginning of the 20th century, it attracted the attention of the Mexican homeopathic physician Manuel A. Lizama, who proved its use for a decade and registered its observations in the Medical Subject Compendium, published in 1913. Since then, several investigations have been carried out inside and outside the country. homeopathic field that have confirmed and specified what is the medicinal action of alpha-asarone and other components of elemuy, but they have also suggested new attributes that it would be convenient to check or discard through scientific studies.

Hypercholesterolemia effectively managed with homeopathic medicine Gautteria gaumeri (Yumel): results from a clinical study in academic clinical set up in north India

Abstract

Background: Hypercholesterolaemia increases the risk of atherosclerosis, subsequently IHD. Herbal-homeopathic medicines are unexplored as lipid-lowering agents. This study presents safety and efficacy outcomes of homeopathic Gautteria gaumeri Q, in treatment of hypercholesterolaemia.

Methods: This was a homoeopathic registry in real world population. A group of 29 subjects with mild to moderate hypercholesterolaemia with or without statin therapy were included in the study at a single centre in Udaipur, India. All subjects were given 10-15 drops of Gautteria gaumeri Q thrice in a day for 2 months and were followed fortnightly.

Results: The sample demographics were similar to typical Indian demographics (age 43±14 years, height 166.5cm, BMI 21kg/m²) having age 49±6 years, gender ratio 0.81 with 13 (45%) males and 16 (55%) females, height 157.07±26.18 cms and weight 71.5±11.78 Kg. The comorbidity included diabetes (44.83%), hypertension (68.97%), current smoking (44.83%) and CAD (31.03%). Thirteen (44.83%) subjects were taking statins for minimum 6 months. At baseline, mean TC, HDL, LDL, VLDL cholesterols and triglycerides were 223±25.8, 41.45±4.82, 150.9±25.97, 30.66±6.38 and 223±34.81 respectively. TC: HDL and LDL: HDL ratios were 5.44±0.82 and 3.69±0.77 respectively. At 2 months, TC reduced by 22.21 (9.96%), triglycerides, LDL and VLDL cholesterol demonstrated 39.55 (17.70%), 24.66 (16.34%) and 3.35 (10.91%) reduction respectively. HDL increased by 5.84 (14.09%). Proportion of population at risk defined as TC >200, LDL >120, VLDL >30, HDL <30 and triglycerides >200 was reduced by 17.24%, 31.04%, 13.79%, 100% and 31.03% respectively. (Baseline n=13). There were no ADRs in the study. Gauttaria gaumeri was proved to be efficacious in treatment of hypercholesterolaemia.

Conclusions: Guatteria gumeri was observed to be efficacious in controlling hypercholesterolaemia. There was no significant effect of statin therapy prior to starting Guatteria gaumeri Q. No safety issues were reported in the study.

हाल ही मे भारत और इस्राइल ने सहयोग बढ़ाने और होम्योपैथी में अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए  केन्द्रीय होम्योपैथी  परिषद , आयुष मंत्रालय,भारत और एकीकृत पूरक चिकित्सा केंद्र, शेर ज़ेडक मेडिकल सेंटर, जेरुसलम के बीच हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।  प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उनके इजरायल के समकक्ष बेंजामिन नेतन्याहू के बीच वार्ता के बाद दोनों देशों के बीच 9 समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए है।  इसराइल ने चार वर्षों की अवधि में कई क्षेत्रों में भारत के साथ सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए 68.6 मिलियन डॉलर का निवेश करने की योजना बनाई है।

The pact was signed between Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, and Centre for Integrative Complementary Medicine, Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, Jerusalem.  India and Israel signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation and boost research in homoeopathy, a system of alternative medicine.  The MoU is a part of the nine agreements signed between the two countries after talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu.  The MoU envisages cooperation in the field of research in homoeopathic medicine. It included establishment of a joint working group.

Role of homoeopathic mother tinctures in rheumatoid arthritis: An experimental study – रुमेटाइड संधिशोध मे होम्योपैथिक मदर टिन्चरों की भूमिका

हाल ही में दो शोध पत्र प्रस्तुत हुये । एक IJRH के जर्नल में और दूसरे pub med पर पब्लिश हुये । पहले शोध पत्र मे होम्योपैथिक मदर टिन्चर जैसे Ricinus communis (RCMT), Rauwolfia serpentina (RSMT), Bellis perennis (BPMT), Curcuma longa(CLMT), Terminalia arjuna (TAMT) and Tribulus terresteris (TTMT और दूसरे शोध पत्र मे होम्योपैथिक टिन्चर Guaiacum officinale के शोधरोधी , वेदनाहार और संधिशोधरोधी प्रभाव का अध्ययन करना था ।

दोनों ही प्रयोगों के लिये एल्बीनों चूहों का प्रयोग प्रायोगिक अध्ययन के लिये किया गया । सामान्य लक्षण विलयन में 1% कैरागीनन की 0.1 ml की मात्रा दायें पंजे मे दे कर शोध प्रेरित किया गया । सोध की मात्रा का आंकलन पंजे की सूजन के आधार पर किया गया । विस्टर एल्बीनो चूहों के प्रपद तलवे में पूर्ण फ़्रायन्ड सह औषध ( CFA ) इंजेक्शन लगाकर संधिशोध प्रेरित किया गया ।

परिणाम:

कुरकुमा लौंगा और ट्राइव्यूलस टरेसटेरिस और ग्वायकम आफ़ मातृ टिन्चर द्वारा कैरागीनन उपचारित चूहों के पाश्च पंजे के सूजन मे कमी आयी आऊ पंजे का आयतन घटा ।यह शक्तिशाली शोधरोधी सक्रियता को दर्शाता है । सभी होम्योपैथिक मातॄ टिन्चर ने चूहों में उष्ण प्रेरित तापीय वेदना में भी परिधीय वेदनाहार सक्रियता दिखाई ।

Abstract
Objectives: The objective of present preliminary study was to assess the anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-arthritic effect of some homoeopathic mother tinctures viz. Ricinus communis (RCMT), Rauwolfia serpentina (RSMT), Bellis perennis (BPMT), Curcuma longa(CLMT), Terminalia arjuna (TAMT) and Tribulus terresteris (TTMT).
Materials and Methods: Paw oedema was induced by administration of 0.1ml 1% carrageenan in normal saline into right hind paw. Degree of inflammation was evaluated according to paw swelling. Arthritis was induced by Complete Freund’s Adjuvant (CFA) injection in metatarsal footpad of Wistar albino rats.
Result: Curcuma longa and Tribulus terresteris mother tinctures reduced hind paw swelling decreased the paw volume in Carrageenan treated rats. Thus, revealed potent activity against inflammation. All homoeopathic mother tinctures showed peripheral analgesic activities in hot plate induced thermal algesia in mice.

Anti-rheumatoid and anti-oxidant activity of homeopathic Guaiacum officinale in an animal model.

BACKGROUND:

Homeopathy is a popular form of complementary and alternative medicine. Guaiacum extract is said to be useful for pain and inflammation, but there appears to be no scientific evidence to support this.

AIMS:

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the anti-rheumatic and anti-oxidant activity of homeopathic preparations of Guaiacum officinale (Gua) on experimental animal model.

DESIGN:

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) was induced in male albino rats by Freund’s complete adjuvant (FCA) at a dose of (0.25 mg heat killed Mycobacterium tuberculosis/ml of emulsion). Gua mother tincture (MT) (prepared from the latex part of the plant) (MT), Gua 30cc and 200cc were purchased commercially from King Company, Kolkata, India. Male albino Wistar rats (130 ± 10 g) were divided into 6 groups: Sham control; Arthritis control; Standard treatment indomethacin (0.25 mg 100 g(-1) p.o. × 5 alternative days), Gua MT (1 ml kg(-1) p.o. × 5 days) treated; Gua (30c 1 ml kg(-1) p.o. × 5 days) treated; Gua (200c; 1 ml kg(-1) p.o. × 5 days) treated. Anti-rheumatic activity was examined through physical, urinary, serum parameters. All the results were expressed in terms of mean ± SEM (statistical error of mean n = 6) at each dose level. The level of significance was determined through one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), p < 0.05 was considered significant.

RESULTS:

It was observed that body weight, ankle and knee diameter, urinary parameters (hydroxyproline (OH-P), glucosamine, calcium (Ca(2)(+)), creatinine (CRE), phosphate (PO4(3)(-))), serum ACP (acid phosphatase)/ALP (alkaline phosphatase)/Ca(2+)/CRE/PO4(3-)/gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT)/Lipid peroxidation (LPO)/Glutathione (GSH)/Superoxide dismutase (SOD)/Catalase, serum GGT, serum interleukins like IL-1β/CINC-1/PGE2/TNF-α/IL-6, IL-12/IL-4/IL-6 levels were significantly affected. After treatment with Guaiacum in all 3 regimes was associated with normalization of these parameters compared to control group.

CONCLUSION:

These findings suggest that homeopathic G. officinale possesses anti-rheumatic and anti-oxidant activity in experimental animal and these activities may be more significant in higher potencies.
