This Clinical  study was undertaken under guidance of Dr. V.P. Singh
Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy , New Delhi at the RRI, Mumbai (May, 1989) and CRU, Chennai (October, 1991)  by CCRH to ascertain whether homoeopathy can play a role in the treatment and management of HIV infection . The results obtained during the pilot study prompted a randomized placebo controlled study at Mumbai (1995-97). The results of the study were published in the British Homeopathic Journal (1999).

In  between April 1998 and March 2003  , 237 HIV infected individuals including, 96 Females and 8 children less than 10 years of age were enrolled in the study .Three of these individuals were suffering from concurrent Hepatitis B infection and 2 were reactive to VDRL . Amyleum Nitrosum, Azathioprine,
Cocainum Muriaticum and Cyclosporine were primarily used as medicines under trial . Other Homoeopathic medicines were used only during seasonal minor ailments based on presenting signs and symptoms.

Assessment of Outcome :

• The response to the treatment was assessed at the end of the study and was based on the change in clinical presentation
• The response to treatment was also assessed by the haematological and immunological  investigations such as CD4/CD8 counts
• Most of these investigations were conducted at the Council’s HIV Research Lab.

कृषि क्षेत्र मे होम्योपैथिक दवाओं के सफ़ल प्रयोगों के परीक्षण एक कौतुहूल और जिज्ञासा का विषय है । कम से कम होम्योपैथी को संदेह की दृष्टि से देखने वालों के लिये तो विशेष रूप से ही हाँ , कृषि क्षेत्र से जुडे वैज्ञानिकों का मानना है कि जैसे होम्योपैथी दवावों के दुष्प्रभाव मनुष्यों पर नहीं पाये जाते वैसे ही यह औषधियाँ पेड और पौधों के लिये भी सुरक्षित हैं । कम लागत की यह होम्योपैथिक दवायें कम से कम अपने देश मे किसानों को काफ़ी राहत दे सकती हैं और साथ ही मे पेड पौधों पर निर्भर रहने वाले जीव -जन्तु को असमय विलुप्त होने से बचा भी सकती हैं ।  हजारों होम्योपैथिक दवाओं के सफ़ल परीक्षण हो चुके हैं और इनमें से कुछ के परिणाम उपलब्ध हैं । इनमे से ९०% रिसर्च अपने देश मे ही हुयी है  ; डां पंकज अवधिया जी द्वारा किये प्रयोग और पाकिस्तान में डां इफ़्ताकार वारिस द्वारा लिये गये सफ़ल परिणामों से क्या शेष विशव का होम्योपैथी से मुँह मोडना संभव   है ।  sceptics या होम्योपैथी के बारे मे अनर्गल  प्रचार-प्रसार करने वाले , सुबह शाम इस चिकित्सा पद्दति को गालियों से नवाजने वाले कितने समय तक तथ्यों से अपना मुँह मोड सकेगें ।

आयुष ( AYUSH-Ayurvedic, Yoga , Unani , Sidhha & homoeopathy )पद्दतियों की क्षमताओं को उजागर करने , उनका लाभ उठाने और उनके मध्यम से स्वास्थ सुविधायें उपलब्ध कराने के लिये आयुष विभाग ने विभिन्न रोगों के उपचार एंव देखभाल पर केन्द्रित अनेक अभियान चलाने का निर्णय लिया है । नीति निर्धारकों एवं आधुनिक पद्दति के चिकित्सकों मे माँ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ के स्तर को सुधारने के क्षेत्र मे होम्योपैथी मे निहि्त क्षमताओं एवं संभावनाओंके सम्बन्ध मे पर्याप्त जागरूकिता नहीं है । इस अभियान का उद्देशय जागरिकता के अलावा होम्योपैथी मेडिकल कालेजों से निकले होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सकों की राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ कार्यक्रमॊं  में सहभागिता कराना भी है।

With a special focus on health status of women & children, various initiatives had  been taken by the govt of India . National Health Policy 2002 acknowledge the role of AYUSH ( Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy )systems in the health scenario of the country. The National Rural Health Mission also advocated mainstreaming of AYUSH systems of medicines in the health sector of the country.

Homeopathy has been chosen for its role in Mother & Child Care . There are many areas where Homeopathy has potential role & can deliver its services for promotion of Mother & Child Health Care.

With this aim , AYUSH, ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India has entrusted to state governments to coordinate the programme of State Campaign on Homeopathy for mother & Child Care. On 17th & 18th march 2008 a two days State Workshop on “Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother & Happy Child ” was conducted at Scientific Convention Center of Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Medical University , Lucknow.

Lucknow-19th march 2008: Homoeopathy needs to be further developed by establishing research centres in homoeopathic colleges. Since homoeopathy has no side effects, it is very useful in treatment of chronic diseases and also curing children of common ailments.
These views were expressed by chief secretary PK Mishra while speaking at the two-day state-level workshop on ‘Homoeopathy for healthy mother and happy child’, which concluded here on Tuesday. He said that homoeopathic indoor and outdoor treatment should be made available in the allopathic hospitals in the state. In her address vice-chancellor of CSM Medical University, Lucknow Prof S Chooramani Gopal said that homoeopathy was the most useful and the safest system of medicine. She said that she would be proud if homeopathy degree was affiliated with the CSM Medical University.
   Addressing the concluding session of the workshop, Dr BD Patel, former head of Government Homoepathic Medical College, Bangalore delivered a lecture on diseases during pregnancy and their treatment. He said that homoepathic medicines proved very effective in treating various diseases during pregnancy and that too without any side effects. Dr Girish Gupta, in his lecture on ‘Role of homoeopathy in mother and child care’, presented statistics on treatment of ovarian cyst, naebothian cyst, mumps and infection of respiratory track by homoepathic medicines.

थायरोड हार्मोन का कार्य material doses मे टैडपोल के मेढंक मे कायाकल्प ( morphogenesis) की प्रक्रिया  को तेज  करना देखा गया है  । आस्ट्रिया के शोधकर्ताओं ने होम्योपैथिक तरीके से बनाई गई थाइरोक्सिन 10⁻³⁰ ( thyroxine 10⁻³⁰ ) के घोल मे टैडपोल को रख के देखा कि इससे मेढंक बनने की  कायाकल्प की प्रक्रिया धीमी होती पायी गई । इस शोध का महत्व बहुत अधिक है क्योंकि यह उन लोगों के मुँह मे ताला लगा सकता है जो होम्योपैथी को अवैज्ञानिक और बकवास कहते रहते हैं ।

For many years, a group of researchers in Austria has experimented
with homeopathic doses of THYROXIN (a thyroid hormone).  They have given it
to tadpoles and found that it slows down their morphogenesis into frogs.
This effect makes sense from a homeopathic point of view because this
thyroid hormone in material doses normally speeds up the tadpoles evolution
into frog-dom.
       This research has now been replicated many times, and what is so
interesting is that the researchers can show the differences in photos
between those tadpoles given the homeopathic medicine and those given a
placebo.
       This study below was replicated in FIVE laboratories!

The effect of homeopathically prepared thyroxine on highland frogs: influence of electromagnetic fields

Abstract

Background: Previous experiments show that amphibian larvae are responsive to homeopathically prepared thyroxine.

Methods: We studied the effect of a highly diluted and agitated thyroxine solution exposed to various electromagnetic fields on metamorphosis in highland Rana temporaria. The devices tested were: microwave oven, mobile phone, airport X-ray, and a red light barcode scanner. Animals were treated either with homeopathically prepared thyroxine (10⁻³⁰ parts by weight, 10⁻³⁵ in the water in which the animals were kept), or analogously prepared blank solution, or analogously prepared thyroxine exposed to the electromagnetic field of one of the devices tested. Solutions were administered at 48 h intervals according to a standardized protocol.

Results: Animals treated with the standard test solution thyroxine 10⁻³⁰ metamorphosed more slowly than the control animals, ie the effect of the homeopathically prepared thyroxine was opposed to the usual physiological effect of molecular thyroxine. The cumulative number of test animals that had reached the four-legged stage at defined points in time was smaller in the group treated with homeopathically prepared thyroxine at most of the points in time. This was found independently by all three research teams involved.

In contrast, this effect did not occur when the thyroxine solution had been exposed to the field of the early model microwave oven, or mobile phone. There was no difference between aqueous or alcoholic solutions were used, and there was, if any, only a small protective effect from aluminum foil. Airport X-ray and red light barcode scanning did not diminish the effect of the homeopathic solution.

When a woman reaches her late forties or early fifties, her periods grind to a halt. Menopause marks the move from the reproductive years to a cessation in fertility. This literally means that her supply of eggs, which is determined at birth, has been used up.
For some this change of life comes smoothly and all she notices is that she no longer has her periods. But for others, the change is more rocky and causes much distress with symptoms of hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and irritation, poor libido, frequent urinary tract infections, poor memory and concentration, fatigue, depression, headaches, weight gain and heart palpitations.
Nearly three-quarters of all menopausal women experience hot flushes which have been described as one of the most distressing symptoms.
Hot flushes (or hot flashes) come unexpectedly. It’s the sudden feeling of intense heat that one feels all over the face and upper body. The skin may turn red and the body starts to sweat. Hot flushes at night disturb a woman’s sleep and can be so severe as to cause the bedding to be soaked in sweat.

आठ देशों के ९९ चिकित्सकों ने औसतन ५५ वर्ष तक की ४३८ महिलाओं पर यह क्लीकल परीक्षण किये । जिन औषधियों को मूलत: प्रयोग किया उनमे  Lachesis mutus, Belladonna, Sepia officinalis, Sulphur और  Sanguinaria canadensis प्रमुख थीं ।

 

Treating hot flushes in menopausal women with homeopathic treatment–Results of an observational study

Abstract

Objective

There is great controversy concerning treatment for menopausal symptoms. We evaluated homeopathic treatments for hot flushes and their effect on quality of life in menopausal women.

Methods

Open, multi-national prospective, pragmatic and non-comparative observational study of homeopathic treatments prescribed and their effectiveness, observing their impact on quality of life.

Results

Ninety-nine physicians in 8 countries took part in this study and included 438 patients with an average age of 55.

Homeopathic medicines were prescribed to all patients; 98% of the prescription lines were for homeopathic medicines. Lachesis mutus, Belladonna, Sepia officinalis, Sulphur and Sanguinaria canadensis were the most prescribed. A non-homeopathic treatment and/or food supplement prescribed for 5% of the patients.

This observational study revealed a significant reduction (p<0.001) in the frequency of hot flushes by day and night and a significant reduction in the daily discomfort they caused (mean fall of 3.6 and 3.8 points respectively, on a 10 cm visual analogue scale; p<0.001).

Ninety percent of the women reported disappearance or lessening of their symptoms, these changes mostly taking place within 15 days of starting homeopathic treatment.

Conclusions

The results of this observational study suggest that homeopathic treatment for hot flushes in menopausal women is effective. Further studies including randomized controlled trials should be conducted.

 थैलेसिमिया के रोगियों मे होम्योपैथिक औषधियों की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डालता हुआ यह शोध पत्र थैलेसिमिया के रोगियों मे एक नयी  रोशनी दे सकता है । ३८ रोगियों मे जिनमे  पहले से ही हाइड्रोक्सी-यूरिया लेने के बावजूद लाभ दिखाई नही दे रहा था , उनमे होम्योपैथिक औषधियाँ पल्साटिला ३० , फ़ेरम मेटिलकम ३० और सियोनेथस ३० या ६ को होम्योपैथिक सिद्द्दातं  ( similia similibus curentur ) के अनुसार दिया गया और परिणाम सार्थक दिखे ।

The researchers say yes, particularly in the developing world where blood transfusions suffer from inadequate screening and fall short of the stringent safety standards followed in the developed countries.

First, the details.

• 38 thalassemic patients received hydroxyurea therapy for a varying periods. Several homeopathic remedies, namely, Pulsatilla Nigricans (30th potency), Ceanothus
  Americanus (both mother tincture and 6th potency) and Ferrum Metallicum (30th potency)
  selected as per similia principles were administered to 38 thalassemic patients receiving
  Hydroxyurea (HU) therapy for a varying period of time.
• The patients were studied before and after treatment. Levels of serum ferritin (SF), fetal
  hemoglobin (HbF), hemoglobin (Hb), platelet count (PC), mean corpuscular volume (MCV),
  mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH),
  white blood cell (WBC) count, bilirubin content, alanine amino transferase (ALT), aspartate
  amino transferase (AST) and serum total protein content of patients were determined before
  and 3 months after administration of the homeopathic remedies in combination with HU to
  evaluate additional benefits, if any, derived by the homeopathic remedies, by comparing the
  data with those of 38 subjects receiving only HU therapy.

And, the results.

• There was a significant decrease in the ferritin blood levels (a complex that stores iron for use in metabolism) and an increase in fetal hemoglobin levels (oxygen-carrying pigment of red blood cells) during combined treatments.
• Changes in other lab values were not significant.
• There was a significant decrease in size of spleen in most patients with enlarged spleens.
• General health improved and there was an increase in the time between transfusions in most patients receiving the combined homeopathic treatment.

The bottom line?
The authors concluded, “Homeopathic remedies being inexpensive and without any known side-effects seem to have great potentials in bringing additional benefits to thalassemic patients.”

इज्जतनगर , बरेली के भारतीय वेटेनिरी संस्थान मे हुये  ऐनोसट्र्स गायों में  ओस्सेट्रोस इन्डकशन पर  होम्योपैथी  रिसर्च चौकानें वाले हैं । हाँलाकि यह रिसर्च क्लासिकल होम्योपैथी से हटकर है लेकिन फ़िर भी इसकी महत्ता को कम नही आँका जा सकता है । इस प्रयोग के लिये छ्ह ऐनोसट्र्स गायों को ओस्ट्रेस इन्डक्शन ( oestrus induction )  के लिये चुना गया जिनमे heat नही के बराबर थी । होम्योपैथिक औषधियाँ जिनमें कैल्कैरिया फ़ास ३०, ऐलेटिर्स फ़ैरीनोसा ३०, पल्साटिला ३० , औरम म्यूर नैट्रोनैटम ३० , सीपिया ३० और फ़ास्फ़ोरस ३० को समिश्रित करके १५ गोली सुबह और शाम दस दिन तक दी गयी । इस ग्रुप के द्वारा  सीरम ओस्सेट्रोजन का कन्सट्रेशन पहले की तुलना ((11.71±2.06 pg/ml) से बढकर (20.88±5.60 to 27.80±7.28 pg/ml) तक जा पहुँचा और कहना न होगा कि सब गायों ने गर्भ धारण किया ।  यह मिश्रण न सिर्फ़ कामयाब रहा बल्कि कीमत के दृष्टिकोण से भी बहुत कम रहा ।

Effect of a Homeopathic complex on oestrus induction and hormonal profile in anoestrus cows

This study was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of a homeopathic complex in the management of true anoestrus in crossbred cows. Six anoestrus cows were treated with a homeopathic complex (Calcarea phosphorica 30c, Aletris farinosa 30c, Pulsatilla 30c, Aurum muriaticum natronatum 30c, Sepia 30c and Phosphorus 30c in equal proportion, 15 pills twice daily orally for 10 days). Six animals acted as control without any treatment.

Treatment was 100% effective in inducing oestrus in anoestrus cows with mean interval of 27.5±5.3 days. All animals conceived and overall conception rate was 54.5% with 1.83 services per conception. In the homeopathic complex treated group, increased serum oestradiol concentration (20.88±5.60 to 27.80±7.28 pg/ml) was observed compared to the pretreatment (11.71±2.06 pg/ml) and control value (10.43±1.77 to 13.94±3.14 pg/ml). The homeopathic complex medicine may be effective and economical in the treatment of true anoestrus condition in cows.

  N.H.M.C. मे पढ रहे और यहाँ से निकले किसी भी चिकित्सक के लिये यह गौरव भरे क्षण हो सकते हैं । मेरे भी छ्ह: साल यहाँ पर गुजरे । तब यह ऐसा न था । सरकारी उपेक्षाओं की  शिकार होम्योपैथी हमेशा से ही रही , बहुत कम होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सक जानते होगें कि भारत मे होम्योपैथी का पहला डिग्री कोर्स N.H.M.C. मे ही शुरु हुआ , उस समय यह G.H.M.S. के नाम से कानपुर विशवविधालय द्वारा प्रदान किया जाता था । C.P.M.T. द्वारा नये होम्योपैथिक छात्रों का चयन जब आरम्भ हुआ तब भी G.H.M.S. करीब दो साल तक चला । उस समय ऊ.प्र. मे डिग्री और डिप्लोमा कोर्स दोनों ही चल रहे थे । लखनऊ मे तब मोहन होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज और N.H.M.C दोनों ही चालू थे , बाद मे N.H.M.C. की नयी बिल्डिगं बनने के बाद दोनों मेडिकल कालेज को एक ही मे संगृहीत कर के आगरा विशवविधालय से संबधित कर दिया गया और सेन्ट्रल काउन्सिल आफ़ होम्योपैथी ने डिप्लोमा कोर्स को समाप्त करके पूरे भारत में एक ही डिग्री कोर्स B.H.M.S. के नाम से चलाने का निर्णय लिया । बाकी की पूरी दास्तान डां राजीव सिंह जी आप  मुझसे भी अच्छी तरह बता सकते हैं ।

…….इसके अलावा नेशनल होम्योपैथी मेडिकल कालेज लखनऊ, होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज इलाहाबाद और होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज कानपुर में आर्गन आफ मेडिसिन, मडिसिन मेरेटियामेडिका और होम्योपैथी रिपट्री विषयों में स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने को मंजूरी दे दी गयी हैं।
अगले पांच वर्षो में वर्तमान में संचालित सभी होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेजों में परास्नातक पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

यह खबर अगर वाकई मे सच में बदल जाये  तो इससे अधिक प्रसन्नता की बात  नहीं हो सकती । और सच मे देखा जाये तो N.H.M.C. इस का हकदार भी है ।

होम्योपैथी निदेशालय द्वारा भेजे गये प्रस्ताव को अमली जामा पहनाते हुए सरकार ने आने वाले पांच वर्षो के दौरान राज्य में दस होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज और एक होम्योपैथिक स्कूल आफ फार्मेसी की स्थापना करने का भी प्रावधान किया है। …….चिकित्सा शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा जारी परफार्मेस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार उक्त सातों होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेजों से प्रतिवर्ष केवल तीन सौ डाक्टर ही उपलब्ध हो पाते हैं अतऱ् राज्य की 18 करोड़ की आबादी को देखते हुए आने वाले पांच वर्षो में दस नये होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज खोलने का प्रावधान भी सरकार ने ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में किया है।

होम्योपैथिक कालेजों के प्रान्तीयकरण करते समय उस समय सरकार ने यह दलील रखी थी कि इतने अधिक कालेजों का रख-रखाव संभव नही है और कालेजों की संख्या सीमित कर दी जाये  ताकि उनका कार्य-संचालन और सुविधायें अच्छे स्तर पर आ जायें । क्या वाकई मे स्तर इन कालेजों का इतना ऊपर उठ चुका है ? आज देखें तो ऊ.प्र. में किसी भी होम्योपैथिक कालेज में सेन्ट्र्ल काउन्सिल द्वारा बाध्य शिक्षकों और डिमान्सट्रेटरों की संख्या किसी भी स्तर के मापक पर नहीं उतरती ।

तो फ़िर सच क्या है :

सच तो यह है कि अब सरकार और स्वास्थ निदेशालाओं की तरह मोटी मलाई खाने की फ़िराक मे है । ऊ.प्र. मे डेन्टल कालेजों के हाल से ही सबक लिया जा सकता है । लखनऊ मे ही करीब ५-६ डेन्टल कालेज खुल चुके हैं और प्रति वर्ष फ़ीस के रुप मे मोटी मलाई खा रहे है ( करीब १.७ लाख से २ लाख तक ) इसमे डोनेशन शामिल नही है जो पहले वसूल लिया जाता है ।

M.B.B.S. में भी इस रोग की शुरुआत हो चुकी है । लखनऊ के एक और प्राइवेट कालेज  मे जहाँ तक मुझे ज्ञात है कि M.B.B.S. मे ऐडेमीशन के समय ३० से ३५ लाख डोनेशन के नाम पर वसूले जाते हैं ।

और पढाई का स्तर इन प्राइवेट डेन्टल कालेजों मे क्या है , वह किसी से छुपा नही है । एक-आध डेन्टल कालेजों मे तो जबरन सप्लीमेन्टरी देकर धन उगाहने का अच्छा तरीका इनके प्रबंधकों ने शुरु कर दिया है जो करीब ३०,०००-४०,००० तक होता है ।यही हाल आगे आने वाले दिनों मे होम्योपैथी मे भी होने जा रहा है , इस बात को आप अच्छी तरह समझ लें । क्या कोई यह उम्मीद करता है कि आने वाले दिनों मे कोई भी सरकार नये कालेज खोलेगी । यह सब उन प्राइवेट कालेजों के लिये अपरोक्ष रुप मे मदद देने  के सिर्फ़ बहाने मात्र हैं ।

लखनऊ, 3 अगस्त (आशीष मिश्र) उत्तर प्रदेश में चल रहे होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेजों पर प्रशासनिक व शैक्षिक नियंत्रण के लिए सरकार ने ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में होम्योपैथिक विश्र्वविद्यालय खोलने का प्रावधान किया है। होम्योपैथी निदेशालय द्वारा भेजे गये प्रस्ताव को अमली जामा पहनाते हुए सरकार ने आने वाले पांच वर्षो के दौरान राज्य में दस होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज और एक होम्योपैथिक स्कूल आफ फार्मेसी की स्थापना करने का भी प्रावधान किया है। वर्तमान में राज्य के सात राजकीय होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज आगरा के डा. भीमराव अम्बेडकर विश्र्वविद्यालय से सम्बद्ध हैं। विश्र्वविद्यालय द्वारा परीक्षाओं का संचालन व परीक्षाफल आदि की घोषणा समय से न होने के कारण उक्त कालेजों के संचालन में काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है। इसी समस्या के समाधान के लिए सरकार ने ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में छत्रपति शाहूजी महाराज चिकित्सा विश्र्वविद्यालय की तर्ज पर राजधानी में एक होम्यौपैथिक विश्र्वविद्यालय खोलने का प्रावधान किया है जिससे राज्य के सारे होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज सम्बद्ध किये जायेंगे। चिकित्सा शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा जारी परफार्मेस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार उक्त सातों होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेजों से प्रतिवर्ष केवल तीन सौ डाक्टर ही उपलब्ध हो पाते हैं अतऱ् राज्य की 18 करोड़ की आबादी को देखते हुए आने वाले पांच वर्षो में दस नये होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज खोलने का प्रावधान भी सरकार ने ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में किया है। इसके अलावा नेशनल होम्योपैथी मेडिकल कालेज लखनऊ, होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज इलाहाबाद और होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज कानपुर में आर्गन आफ मेडिसिन, मडिसिन मेरेटियामेडिका और होम्योपैथी रिपट्री विषयों में स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने को मंजूरी दे दी गयी हैं।
अगले पांच वर्षो में वर्तमान में संचालित सभी होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेजों में परास्नातक पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। राज्य के सात होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कालेज, 1482 राजकीय होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सालय कार्य कर रहे हैं। इन अस्पतालों में कार्य करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित फार्मेसिस्टों की जरूरत पड़ती है किन्तु वर्तमान में राज्य में होम्योपैथिक फार्मेसिस्टों के प्रशिक्षण के लिए कोई संस्थान नहीं है। इस तथ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए सरकार ने होम्योपैथिक स्कूल आफ फार्मेसी खोलने का भी निर्णय लिया है। निदेशक होम्योपैथी प्रो. बीएन सिंह बताते हैं कि निदेशालय द्वारा सरकार को भेजे गये प्रस्ताव में नेशनल होम्योपैथिक कालेज लखनऊ में परास्नातक पाठ्यक्रम शुरू होने के बाद इसी संस्थान को होम्योपैथी विवि का दर्जा देने की संस्तुति की गयी है। डा. सिंह ने बताया कि ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में सरकार द्वारा किये गये प्रावधानों को अमल में लाने के लिए केंद्रीय होम्योपैथी परिषद और विश्र्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग से मदद ली जा रही है।
